The updated Suelo was developed with one clear principle in mind: riding should be easy and controlled. The ride assist up to 6 km/h via a throttle makes getting started particularly easy. The innovative mid-drive motor is fully adjustable to the rider's needs, from extra sensitive support with minimal effort to powerful support in higher settings.
Comfort is key. Extra-wide Schwalbe tires provide excellent cushioning and stability, while effectively absorbing bumps. The Suelo comes standard with a removable 530Wh battery; a 625Wh battery is available as an option for extra range.
The Suelo has been developed according to a "one size fits all" principle and is suitable for riders from approximately 155 to 200 cm tall. Thanks to extensive adjustment options for the handlebars and saddle, the bike can be quickly and efficiently tailored to the rider.
In terms of drivetrain, the Suelo is available with a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub for precise control over the gear position or with an Enviolo continuously variable hub for an extremely smooth and intuitive shifting experience. The bike is available in four standard colors, and a RAL color is also available on request.

Powered by Betronic E-Drive Solutions
The Suelo is equipped with theNijland drive system, powered by Betronic E-Drive Solutions (EDS). This e-drive system has been specially developed to enable customized drive assistance and programming.
Betronic has been developing e-drive systems and components for Veloretti and Cortina, among others, for more than fifteen years and has its own development and production facilities in the Netherlands.
For dealers, this collaboration means:
- A fully integrated e-drive system (motor, controller, battery, display, and sensors).
- Physical onboarding in the store upon introduction of the Betronic analysis and service tool.
- Fast warranty processing and after-sales service via the Betronic service platform.
- Immediate availability of parts via the aftermarket webshop.
This collaboration offers technical certainty and maximum workshop support.
Professional fitting and collaboration with occupational therapists
Nijland distinguishes itself emphatically in guidance and support. The company has its own fitting advisor who supports dealers with fitting and complex mobility issues, particularly for tricycles. If necessary, occupational therapists are consulted for fitting and advice on location.
For specialist retailers, this means support with specific customer cases, professional advice on mobility issues, and extra certainty when selling to customers with medical or functional limitations.
Now launched – available soon
The new Suelo was officially launched at the beginning of March. Production is currently being scaled up so that the first bikes will be available to dealers before the summer. With the Suelo, Nijland Cycling is introducing Nijland Cycling comfortable and accessible e-bike with a low step-through frame, developed for riders who value stability, ease of use, and riding comfort.
